COMMINUTING MILLS
Through continual development over the years, Apex are now proud to offer a range of 4 types of comminuting mills, SSU2-314, SSU2-114, 314S-SS and 180 models.
All of which can be configured to accommodate a vast number of applications, installations, operation environments, and ATEX compliance.
Chamber designs are all stainless steel, smooth walled, crevice free, fully welded construction, which enables easy manual cleaning, or washed in place by the use of hot water or super-heated steam – if specified.
The SSU-114 and 180 models are available in double width for increased throughput for extremely high demand production volumes.

A feature, which greatly extends the flexibility and versatility of the Apex Mill, is the Comminuting Mill Chamber with revisable rotor and blades. It is specifically designed for dual faced blades. Several blade/hammer types have been developed – each having specially designed for certain operations and products.
